Kat Corbett is the midday DJ on KROQ 106.7FM in Los Angeles. She also hosts the local music show, which has helped launched the careers of Silversun Pickups, Fitz And The Tantrums, Grouplove, AWOLNATION, Young the Giant, Local Natives, The Dirty Heads, Saint Motel, and more. She began her radio career in Boston at WFNX while simultaneously working for legendary concert promoter Don Law.

In 1998 Kat moved to Los Angeles and joined the morning show on Y107 hosted by Chris Hardwick and Courtland Cox. When the station dissolved she moved over to KROQ where she has wracked up hundreds of artist interviews and thousands concerts. 

Kat works with many organizations such as Girlschool and Play Like a Girl who are focused on supporting the current generation of female musicians and inspiring the next. She’s also a big animal rescue advocate. 

In addition, Kat is a writer of fiction, and a voiceover artist with clients including FIFA Women’s World Cup, Lifetime, Wheat Thins, Mercedes Benz, and Souplantation.
